Sartorial 65: Paul Weller Style - Five Decades of Cool
"I’ve always liked my clothes, even before I could properly afford them. Clothes for me were never a cloak, a cover. They were how I chose to express myself." Paul Weller.
Books
“Sartorial 65 is different to any other Paul Weller publication because it’s completely unilateral. It doesn’t consist of any input from fans or their emotions. It contains facts. And it’s the only Paul Weller publication that investigates, in tremendous detail, every item of clothing he’s been involved in or collaborated with.
We span all periods of Paul’s life from the very early days of The Jam right up to now. Covering the beginning of punk up to the recent interest in folk albums. Each period has its own charm, music and fashion trends. Paul Weller has this knack of making each one relevant and still fascinating to this day. Some love just a certain period, e.g., The Jam, others The Style Council, many, many fans love everything, like me.”

T-Shirts

The T-shirt chapter in Sartorial 65 is one of the chunkiest, covering the history of this iconic piece of merchandise as it travelled the world on the backs of the greats, from Nirvana’s smiley and the lips of The Rolling Stones to the raglan tees of The Strokes. So it was only fitting Sartorial 65 launched its own collection too.
